Chepstow has to be one of the UK's most dramatic castles, perched on top of sheer limestone cliffs next to the beautiful River Wye. At 950 years, it is Wales' oldest Norman Castle. It's the perfect introduction to this beautiful part of Wales.

Wye VALLEY WOODLAND AND RIVER VIEWPOINTS
Wander the woodland which inspired Wordsworth, with far reaching views over the wooded valley and to the river meandering far below.

TINTERN ABBEY AND VILLAGE
Explore the medieval monastic ruins which inspired Romantic Era artists such as Turner. The abbey is tucked away in the lower Wye Valley but dominates the landscape, leaving visitors awestruck. Spend some free time exploring the riverside village at Tintern, or take a short guided walk along the river banks.
